Peck Farm:

Learn how to go get the horse, halter, lead, tie, brush, clean feet, tack up English or Western, mount, and ride. Then dismount, untack, feed carrots and return to corral. Mandatory boots with smooth sole and heel, your helmet or ours, jeans or breeches. One half hour break for lunch, then ride again a second time, bareback. Also covers different feeds, breeds, colors, horse care. Horse Demonstration on Fridays for the students to show off their new skills. Bring water, a jacket, and lunch. $25.00 lab fee.
