OVERVIEW:
Extended Day runs from 2:30pm - 6:00pm. During this time, children have a supervised snack, bathroom break, recess, and classroom time with dedicated PS 154 After School staff, followed by supervised indoor/outdoor recess.

There are a limited number of seats in each extended day group in order to maintain the proper student-to-staff ratio. Waitlists open once a group becomes full.

REGISTRATION
The PS 154 After School runs 3 sessions per year (fall, winter, and spring.) Families must re-register for extended day each session. Note: extended day registration no longer carries over from one session to the next. You must re-register for each session.

To register, please follow these steps:

• Choose your child's grade level (for example, Kindergarten.)
• Next, add each day you want to your cart (for example, Kingergarten Monday, Kindergarten Tuesday, Kindergarten Friday.)
• The days you choose at the beginning of the session carry over week-to-week for the entire session.
• For example, if I choose Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for the fall session, my child will have a seat in extended day every Monday, Tuesday and Friday (that school is in session) for the full fall session. 
• Depending on availability, you may add, change, or decrease the number of days and which days your child attends during each new session registration.
• (For example, in the fall my child is registered for 2 days of extended day on Tuesdays and Thursday, but in the winter, my child is registered for 3 days of extended day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
• You may also request a change to your child's schedule at the beginning of any month. If there is space available on the day you request, the After School staff will do our best to accommodate your needs.
• (For example, in September and October my child attends Tuesdays and Thursdays but starting in November I would like to drop Thursdays and add Wednesdays.) 
• NOTE: There are no pro-rated fees for extended day. You will always be billed for a full month regardless of when you make changes or how much your child attends. For example, if on October 15th, I decrease the number of days my child attends per week, the new rate for fewer days will kick in at the beginning of November. On the other hand, if on October 15th, I increase the number of days my child attends, you will be billed for the full month of October at the new higher price.

TUITION
The base rate for Extended Day is $150 for our 1-day per week plan with generous discounts given for additional days and no extra fees for the additional coverage on Mondays due to the shorter school day. The full tuition schedule is as follows:

1 day per week: $150 billed monthly
2 days per week: $290 billed monthly (incudes a $10 discount)
3 days per week: $425 billed monthly (includes a $25 discount)
4 days per week: $525 billed monthly (includes a $75 discount)
5 days per week: $600 billed monthly (includes a $125 discount)

Note: the discounts are automatically calculated when you add more days to your cart.

PAYMENT
You may choose to pay the full tuition for the session upon registration or choose a monthly installment plan. 

For example, the fall session has 3.5 months. Upon registration for a 1-day per week plan, you may choose to pay the full $525 ($150 x 3.5).

If you prefer the insallment plan, you will be charged $75 for .5 months upon check out, then $150 on the 3rd of each month (Oct 3, Nov 3, Dec 3).

Discounts will be automatically included and calculated in the installment plan for multiday plans.
