STUDIO ART: All About Animals

Art Projects in Paper and Cardboard sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Collage and Mobiles

Through play, experimentation and imagination, we discuss animals and their

habitats, and make mobiles that illustrate what we’ve learned about our favourite

animal.

We make animal masks, and look at the animal figures in Northwest Coast art. We

build totem poles that tell stories about our families, and create a stuffed paper

sculpture of a dog or cat after looking at their basic anatomy - all while developing

small-motor and coordination skills.
