Intro to Fiber Art for boys and girls!

Art Projects for crafty hands in Embroidery stitching (card and burlap), Weaving

(wool and paper). A paper sculpture project and an introduction to watercolour

techniques

Students use natural fibres and objects from nature to make original weavings.

Embroidery stitches are introduced to make colourful patterns. Watercolour

techniques are introduced and practiced on strips of watercolour paper, and are

then woven into beautiful pieces. Finally, students will crush a large piece of paper,

look for an image (like looking up at the clouds) and make an interesting painting

that stimulates their imagination and creativity!
