Description:
This workshop is aimed at performers who want more training in interactive or “Character Animation” performance. We will work with the development of characters, use of props, interactivity and the skills needed to improvise directly with the public. About the Instructor: Martha Enson is Artistic Director of the event production company EnJoy Productions, the off-
site Events Director with Teatro Zinzanni, and a Founding Artistic Director of UMO Ensemble. In addition to conceiving of and directing over 30 original productions a year, Martha is an actress, clown, acrobat, aerialist and puppeteer, She most recently created and directed Venus and The Vixens at Emerald City Trapeze Arts, and has taught improvisation and performance at Cornish college for the Arts, Evergreen College, The University of South Tampa and independently. She is a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor, an avid gardener and runner, and lives on Vashon Island, WA with her husband Kevin and daughter Ruby.
