Description:
This four-day weekday morning workshop will focus on flying trapeze technique, individualized goals and proper warm up and cool downs! There will be 2 hours of rig time every day and catching on the final 2 days. Instrutor Bio: Katie Sokolowski has performed flying trapeze all over the world and right before her Cirque du Soleil journey began, she was flying, training, and coaching at Emerald City Trapeze! Katie solidified her name in circus history by catching the first double twisting double layout as a female flyer, and she did so at the world renowned circus festival, Monte Carlo, in 2024 with catcher, Ryan Schnieder and the team Pneumatics Arts. Long before her circus career launched, Katie had a passion for coaching and doing gymnastics, this background has helped her transition into coaching and conditioning for flying trapeze seamlessly. Come be inspired and motivated by Katie’s high energy and passionate coaching!
