SANCA is offering an extensive day camp program at Emerald City Trapeze Arts for children and young adults ages 9 to 16! The core of Circus Exploration Camp is to invite preteens and teens to the magical world of circus, without the pressures of taking their skills to the stage. Circus Exploration Camp allows students to develop physical skills, build confidence, explore their own uniqueness, and expand their creative capabilities. We will explore various Aerial Arts (Fabric, Rope and Lyra), experience the exhilaration of Flying Trapeze, and develop ground and balance skills. This camp is a great fit for budding circus artists as well as experienced young circus artists hoping to deepen their general circus practice. Each week will feature a casual demonstration that parents are welcome to attend!

Required age: 9 - 16 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Please note we cannot guarantee your camper will be paired with another camper. Camp groups are based on age to ensure the best social experience for the entirely of camp. Forming new connections is at the heart of circus and we encourage you to think of camp as an opportunity for your camper to make new friends!
