Winter is over and spring has sprung! The woods are awakening and we're setting off on an adventure to see all that has come to life - birds, reptiles, and plants alike! We'll go on scavenger hunts, spend time bird watching at the lake, and learn about all different types of plants and animals that make Umstead home. We'll use tools like binoculars and magnifying glasses to see up close and from far away all that the forest has to offer. When we aren't discovering the suprises of spring, we'll have time for plenty of games, whittling, fort building, and more. Join us to see what the forest will surpise us with!
