The STARS After School Program offers an exciting and engaging experience for children in grades JK-6. With a diverse range of fun activities, participants can explore their interests and talents in drama, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor games, sports, swimming, skateboarding, home work assistance and more. Our program provides a safe and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and create lasting memories. Our STARS programs runs out of our main clubhouse and our Satellite locations.
Our Main Clubhouse on Palmerston Ave picks up from the following schools in the surrounding area;
Palmerston Public School, Essex/Hawthorne Public School, Huron Public School and Humewood Public School.
Parents are responsible for setting up school bus transportation from the following schools;
École Sacré-Coeur school & École élémentaire Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau (Please select the NO SHUTTLE option for these schools)
Our Satellite locations are located in McMurrich Public School, Regal Road Junior Public School, Kensington Community School, and Rawlinson Community School.
How to Register
- Create an Amilia account if you do not have one ( create before registration day) How to video linked
- If your child does not have a member profile, go to your account, click on members - add a person - add your child's information. ( create before registration day)
- Please Register your child for the location & grade they will be entering into for September 2025 from the Stars 2025-2026 tab below (** Example: If your child will be attending Huron in Grade 1, register for "Main Clubhouse Gr 1." If your child will be attending Rawlinson in JK, register for "Rawlinson JK/SK")
If you want to register for part-time care, please choose your preferred 3 days. You will need to add each day individually to your cart and check out.
To register for full-time care, ensure you add all 5 days to your cart and check out. Please note; you will need to add each day individually to your cart as there is not an option to select all days at once.
After completing the rest of your registration, a payment step where the balance displayed will be $0. Please follow the steps to “pay” the balance.
Our monthly fees for the Full Time (5 days) and Part Time (3 days) programs are charged as a flat rate. Fees are posted on our website.
There is no fee for withdrawing from the program prior to August 29 2025.
Withdrawal Notice: A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required.
Any schedule changes that are requested mid-month – the following months invoice will be adjusted.
Monthly invoices and payments are NOT processed through Amilia. Payments are withdrawn directly from your bank account using Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT), ensuring a seamless and secure payment process.
After you have successfully completed the registration process, you will find instructions, on your emailed invoice to provide your void cheque or banking information to the Office Manager to facilitate Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) for payments. Payments will be automatically withdrawn on the 30th of each month.
We offer a separate full day program for TDSB PA Days and holidays. Registration is required.
What to bring
- Clothing and footwear appropriate for playing indoors and outdoors.
- Kinder Group - Extra clothing is suggested
- Snacks (Children are discouraged from sharing food to minimize the possibility of allergic reactions).
- A water bottle.
Please be aware that our waitlist operates on a first-come, first-served basis. When a spot becomes available, it is offered to everyone on the waitlist simultaneously, and the first person to accept the spot will be given the opportunity to enroll.
