Participants must be 3-5 years old and have successfully completed the skills in Lifesaving Society Preschool 4. This class is unparented, and progression is based on the successful completion of all performance criteria.

Swimmers at the preschool 5 level will learn how to perform a forward roll entry wearing a lifejacket and treading water for 10 sec. They'll work on front and back crawl swims for 5 m, interval training and get a giggle out of whip kick.
