Classes: Snowplow Sam (ages 3 to 5), Basic Skills (ages 6+), Free Skate (all ages), Adults (age 21+), Hockey (all ages)

Learn to Skate at the Southern Wisconsin Skating School! Our mission is to provide a fun and positive experience that will instill a lifelong love of skating. Let's go on a journey together!

Learn to Skate USA memberships are required to participate in classes for insurance purposes.  Purchase here and affiliate with Southern Wisconsin Skating School: https://learntoskateusa.com/

Rental skates are available for no additional cost. 

Skaters and family members may also skate on the 30-minute practice ice at no additional cost. If your class is from 11:00-11:30, then your practice ice time will be from 11:30-12:00 on a section of the ice not being used by classes. If your class is from 11:30-12:00, then your practice ice time is from 11:00-11:30.

Class assignments will be emailed to participants prior to the first day. Skater levels are determined by previous sessions with us or based on your current level in Learn to Skate USA's database. If you have questions/concerns about your level, please let us know! Our coaches are constantly assessing skater levels and will move skaters up or down as appropriate each week.

Skaters interested in figure skating can take private lessons and group lessons at the same time, or transition completely to private lessons. We also have skaters who participate in Synchronized skating in our area. 

Skaters interested in Hockey will be referred to our rink hockey program.
