Description:
Buds are breaking, frogs are waking, spring has sprung! In this PD day for kids, we’ll celebrate the new life emerging on the land with games and activities that tap into kids’ natural awe and wonder at the wild world. Whether we’re learning to identify plants, foraging for seasonal crafts, or counting crayfish in the Eramosa, adventure awaits.
Growing Green features signature GOS magic: fireside stories and songs, games that teach, roaming fields and forest with new friends, and caring instructors who set the stage for curiosity, connection and fun.re some kindling for the fireplace, or some art for the front door.
Growing Green is an open ended day with support from GOS instructors who help to set the mood, hatch plans, share in the successes and failures, help with any conflict, keep us all safe, and share stories at the end of the day. See you out there.

Wait 'til you see their end of day smiles and hear the stories. PD Days are rain or shine. Sun, snow, gusts, and fogs, we will be out there. Please dress appropriately. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer your spot to another set of bright eyes. Cancellation Policy for PD Camps: We ask that the first $10 of any registration be considered a deposit. A full refund (minus deposit) can be issued if you cancel with 14 days notice or more, prior to the program start date. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date of a PD Camp are non-refundable. All effort will be taken to find a replacement participant from a waitlist, should one exist, and should that be completed, then a refund less deposit will be issued. GOS is not responsible for issuing refunds when programs are cancelled due to inclement weather, or circumstances out of our control which may include provincially mandated closure of programs.
