Description:

In this course students will explore a variety of basic printmaking techniques and print processes. We’ll work with relief block printing, monotype, drypoint, and screen printing. This class is open to any level of experience with printmaking and does not require prior knowledge.

About the Instructor: Marin Carr-Quimet is an artist currently based in Chapel Hill. They have a BFA from UNC Chapel Hill, and work primarily in ceramic, sculpture and printmaking. They love working with collaborative processes and social practice work. https://marincarrquimet.com/.

Notes: Supplies: Students should bring a linoleum carving set, a rag, and mixed media or printmaking paper. Students should also bring a $40 fee payable by cash or check to the instructor, to cover additional materials.
