Description

The Inspired Mind is a creative learning and enrichment center where kids are encouraged to be curious, creative, independent, and confident. Located in the Lehigh Valley, The Inspired Mind offers hands-on experiences designed for elementary-aged children, with opportunities to explore art, science, STEM, makerspace activities, problem-solving, open-ended play, and more. Unlike traditional programs that follow a set curriculum or expect every child to complete the same project, The Inspired Mind is built around child-led exploration and inquiry-based learning. Children are given the freedom to make choices, ask questions, experiment, take appropriate risks, make mistakes, and discover their own solutions. Our Experience Facilitators guide and encourage children without taking over the learning process. Our space is intentionally designed to spark curiosity. Children can experiment with materials, build and invent, create works of art, investigate how things work, solve problems, collaborate with others, and follow their interests. From our makerspace and creative studios to hands-on experiments and open-ended provocations, there is always something new to discover. The Inspired Mind offers a variety of enrichment opportunities for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, including open play, homeschool enrichment, workshops, school-break programs, summer camps, creative challenges, STEM experiences, and special family events.
