Join Kentville artist Johanna Rosolen for a six-week introduction to watercolours course, with weekly one-hour sessions.

Each class will dive into different techniques and approaches to watercolor painting, focusing on exploration, experimentation, and the positive impact creativity can have on everyday life.

Participants will complete a small project each week, including works like mini landscapes, bookmarks, or nature studies.

This course is open to all skill levels—whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your artistic practice.

Prerequisites: Participants will need the following materials: Paint Brushes: 2-3 brushes in various sizes, such as size 2, 4, and 12 round or flat brushes. Both watercolor and acrylic brushes are suitable. Watercolor Paper Pad: A 9x13 pad, preferably 140lb. These supplies are available at Michael’s, Amazon, or any local art store. Watercolor Paint Set: Recommended brands include Mungyo (available on Amazon) or DeSerres. Black Ink Pen: A fine-tipped Sharpie or similar.
