Description:

Join Kentville artist, Johanna Rosolen for a 6 week introductory course on drawing.

Johanna will guide participants through skills such as observational drawing, creating value and tone, playing with line,  sketchbook work and more. As always, an emphasis on creativity will be at the heart of these classes.

Materials needed:

- Large 11X14 Mixed Media Paper pad

- A kit of sketching pencils with a variety of grades (6B, 5B, 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F, H, 2H, 3H, 4H)

- 1 pack of drawing charcoal in stick form

- 1 sketchbook 

Extra supplies (not necessary but could be fun): 

- a variety of black illustration pens 

- coloured pencil crayons

- oil pastels
