Important information

We invite all members, who are riding at an intermediate level, to join us for a group ride into the Wolverine via Tentfire. Brandon Hogg, Groomer Maintenance, will be your host for the day.

Intermediate Level means the rider has a firm grasp on basic backcountry riding skills like side hilling, climbing and descending steep grades, and the ability to get unstuck without assisted rescue.

Riders must have safety gear inlcuding avalanche beacon, shovel and probe and know how to use them. AST1 or higher is recommended for the terrain. Riders also need to bring food, water and proper winter snowmobiling gear to last a full day out.

Riders must have a backcountry kit that includes the following at a minimum:

Spare spark plugs and plug wrench

Basic Tools

Tow Rope

Spare Belt

Registration is required through this platform, or if you are a member from another club you can register by emailing droscher@bcsf.org.
