Enjoy the convenience of online learning as the expertise of Southern BC's esteemed gardening professionals is brought directly to your screen.  

The Home Gardening Series, a collaboration between the Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association and the Vancouver Chapter of the Master Gardeners, has been thoughtfully designed for individuals who are looking for a high-quality online horticulture course. The Home Gardening Series will cover essential gardening principles, spanning a diverse range of topics (see list below), providing a flexible and impactful partial offering of the Master Gardener training course suitable for beginner and seasoned gardeners alike.         

Course participants will attend 8 of the online sessions from the Master Gardener Training Program. Pre-registration is required. Recordings will be made available to participants for one month following each session.  PLEASE READ OUR CANCELLATION POLICY before registering for the course.

Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given for education courses. A credit will be applied to your account for cancellations with one week's notice. With less than a week's notice, no credit will be given. No new credit will be issued if the cancelled course was purchased using prior credit. Program cancellation by the VBGA due to Public Health Restrictions will result in education program credit equivalent to the value lost. Credits must be used within one year from the date issued. Please notify us of your cancellation in writing to learn@vandusen.org

Prerequisites: This series is for everyone with an interest in gardening, from backyard and community gardeners, to garden designers and landscapers.
