Transform your home or small garden into an urban micro-farm in this in-person workshop presented by a Sustainable Design Professional. In this holistic class, explore living walls, vermicomposting, window farms, and other indoor planting systems to add edible greenery to your home without taking up much space. Learn principles of planning your garden, managing water and light requirements, and which plants are most suitable. Instructor Dr. Yael Stav will demonstrate a selection of examples of the various designs you can use for your indoor micro-farm to enjoy a variety of plants year-round.

This course includes an optional hands-on component if you want to prepare your own microgreens tray and/or sprouting jars during class.

Microgreens and sprouts kits are sold separately and are not included in the course fee. Please go to the “Add-ons & Gifts” section and include the kit(s) in your cart.

The due date for purchases: Materials - May 25, at noon. Course fee - May 27, at 4 pm.
