Please note, this series cannot be taken as individual courses Improve your drawing skills for journaling, teaching, or pure enjoyment in this 3-part series. Drawing directly from nature is about observing plants to identify shapes, spaces between shapes, edges, scale and proportion. Katharine will teach you how to record nature through illustration. Learn how to create the illusion of depth, and make observational drawings looking at plants from different aspects.

Notes: Bring an 11x14 multimedia sketchbook, HB and 2B pencils to the first class. More supplies options will be discussed during class. Limited folding chairs available onsite for drawing outdoors when weather permits.
