Description:

Step into the fascinating world of forests, orchards, and beyond as we delve into the art of tree photography. Led by Melissa H. Clark, prepare to unleash your creativity and discover the answers to your tree photography questions.

In this session, we will discuss locations and settings to bring out the splendour of trees. With Melissa's expert guidance, we will visually dissect the essence of a tree and craft tree portraits that you'll be proud to showcase. Do not shy away from experimenting with in-camera filters, lighting effects, and depth of field to add that extra touch of magic. And what better place to capture these natural wonders than the breathtaking gardens of VanDusen?

Bring your camera with a USB cable, empty memory card, user manual, and your lunch (you can also buy it in the Garden Café). Cell phones are accepted and can make an excellent addition as a secondary camera to add an exciting twist to your shots. This class focuses on honing your composition skills, emphasizing the creative aspect rather than getting bogged down in technical details. Please shoot in JPEG format instead of RAW files to ensure a smooth critique session.

Enroll today and let your passion for photography bloom! Online pre-registration is required.
