Description:
Join long-time VanDusen birding guide Jeremy Gordon for a beginner-friendly class on the basics of birding! He will discuss the best birding resources, such as binoculars and field guides, share tips on identifying local and migratory birds, and highlight birding 'hot spots' around Vancouver. Following a one-hour classroom presentation, Jeremy will lead a guided walk through the Garden to practice new skills in the field. This class is specifically designed to provide aspiring bird watchers with a solid foundation & the confidence to head out and get birding this season. Read our cancellation policy here.
