Description:
In January we will talk about The Warmth and Wonder of Winter Foods Children will sip and taste fresh mint tea from our winter garden, share books and songs, and stir their imaginations with a bean soup activity. This is an easy-going, early learning program for children ages 3-5 and their parents/caregivers. We gather in the Library (or in the courtyard outside when the weather permits) to engage with nature-themed children’s books, songs, and to explore seasonal topics with age-appropriate activities. Please email library@vandusen.org if you would like to bring along younger siblings, or check out our website for education programs for school-aged children. Similarly, please email us if you need to cancel. NOTE: ALL adults & children attending the program must be registered in advance to attend. No drop-ins.

Required age: 3 - 5 years old on the day of the activity
Notes: This program is limited to 10 families, so register early to make sure you have a spot! PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP IS SHOWING SYMPTOMS OF COLD/FLU/ILLNESS.
Prerequisites: Children must be accompanied by an adult for this program. Supervision of children is the responsibility of the parent/caregiver at all times.
