Description:
Join us for this hands-on workshop where we'll explore what to sow, harvest, and care for during this time of year, with a special focus on caring for quick-growing greens that do well in cooler weather. You’ll learn how to grow quick, cool-weather crops like arugula, spinach, mustard, and Asian greens for a lush fall harvest. Led by Sangeeta Thomas, the Learning Garden Coordinator, this session includes practical work in the raised beds of the Learning Garden. You’ll prepare soil, sow seeds, and learn how to thin, harvest, and protect your crops as the days get shorter—while building your gardening skills along the way. Note: The Learning Garden is a 15-minute walk along paved and gravel trails. Read our cancellation policy here.
