Join us in celebrating VanDusen Botanical Garden's 50th Anniversary by attending our Lecture Series. There are 4 exciting sessions happening from May to October 2025, with top-notch speakers you don't want to miss.
The Lecture series is offered both online and in-person. Pre-registration is required for both formats.You can register online here or in-person by visiting the Discovery Room in VanDusen's Visitor Centre. Lecture Series times are listed in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
The Lecture Series is available to both members and non-members.
Ways to save:
- Garden Members receive a 10% discount. Enter the code GARDENMEMBER at checkout to receive your 10%-member discount. All memberships are checked for validity. To become a Garden Member click here.
- Register for all 4 lectures in the series and receive a $10 discount. Online and in-person sessions can be combined, but all 4 sessions must be purchased at once. The discount will automatically be applied at check-out. This discount can be combined with the Garden Member discount.
- Bursaries are available for all education programs including the Lecture Series. Apply here.
- Members of the x?m?θkw?y??m (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and s?lilw?ta? (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations can attend for free, but must pre-register. Please email learn@vandusen.org to register.
To register for a class online, you must first open an account with Amilia, our online registration portal. Note that your membership account does NOT give you this access. You must open a separate account in Amilia.

Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given for the Lecture Series. If you need to cancel your registration, please provide a written request at least one week (7 days) in advance of the start of the program and the full program fee will be credited to your Amilia account. Cancellation requests made with less than a week’s notice will not receive credit. No new credit will be issued if the cancelled course was purchased using prior credit. Credits must be used within one year of the date issued. A single session cancellation for registrations that received the 4 session discount will receive credit less the $10 discount. Please notify us of your cancellation in writing to learn@vandusen.org
Program cancellation by the VBGA (Vancouver Botanical Gardens Association) due to Public Health Restrictions will result in education program credit equivalent to the value lost.
