Description

Established in 1992, Waterdown District Children’s Centre is a non-profit child care charitable organization in Waterdown, Ontario that strives to provide high quality care and experiential education for ALL children (ages 18 months – 12 years) through an integrated roster of full-time Daycare, Before / After School, March Break and Summer Day Camp programs. The centre and its in-school camp programs are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of current and past parents of participating children and qualified community members who meet regularly to improve the program. Our programs are fully licensed and regularly inspected as part of the Day Nurseries Act, ensuring you of safety, teacher/student ratios and other benefits specific to your child’s care. All staff are subject to Vulnerable Persons Police Reference Checks. Our principal teaching staff are certified early childhood educators (ECE designation) who endeavor to create a warm nurturing environment for children. We offer healthy full day and snack nutrition/meal programs. We do our best to offer flexible care, full accessibility, and special accommodations to meet your needs. We are proud of having one of the few fully accessible and integrated programs that give children with special needs the ability to interact in a safe setting with peers of all abilities.
