Description
WORCA is a non-profit trail advocacy organization with over 2200 members. It was incorporated as a non-profit society in 1989. WORCA maintains hundreds of kilometres of multi-use, world-class trails in Whistler and also works on new trail construction after extensive planning work has been completed and all relevant permits have been approved. WORCA fosters the evolution of mountain biking by running youth camp programs every spring and summer for youth between 6 and 16 years old. Some key components of the camps are skill development, trail exploration, trail etiquette and trail stewardship. WORCA brings the local community together through weekly Toonie Rides, special events and volunteer trail days/nights.
