WILDE School is a nonprofit school offering nature-based education that reconnects children to nature, challenge, and self—year-round.
Description
WILDE School Blue Mountains is a not-for-profit, registered private school serving families across the Blue Mountains, Collingwood, and the wider Georgian Triangle. Our approach is grounded in Permacognitive Education—a learning framework inspired by healthy ecosystems and informed by neuroscience and child development. In practice, this means designing environments and curriculum where learning is active, relational, and deeply connected to place. At WILDE, nature is not an enrichment or reward—it is a core learning environment. Our purpose-built outdoor infrastructure and experiential programs are designed around what research tells us children need to thrive: movement, curiosity, challenge, collaboration, and reflection. This philosophy carries across everything we do—from our school-year programs to our camps and seasonal intensives. Students develop highly transferable skills including adaptability, teamwork, problem-solving, self-awareness, and confidence—capacities that serve them in school, in leadership, and in life.
