Description:

This course is a hands-on introduction to the skills and knowledge necessary to live through a short-term wilderness survival situation. If you have the survival skills and experience to survive at least 72 hours, then you have a much greater chance to find your way out of the woods OR be located by search and rescue.

Required age: 16 - 99 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: 16+ with parent only. Fixed blade knife required; for classes that require a knife, please bring a sharp, full-tang fixed blade (about 4") with a protective sheath. We suggest the Mora Companion, commonly sold at Ragweed Forge and Amazon. Please be aware that we no longer sell knives.
