Adult Registration Liability Waiver and Indemnification

Participation in the program is conditioned upon agreement to the below waiver and indemnification. In consideration of my admission to programs and activities offered by Wilderness Awareness School (“The School”), I acknowledge and agree to:

Assume all risks of injury and death and loss of or damage to property arising out of my participation in Wilderness Awareness School programs and activities, which I understand involve inherent dangers;
Waive all claims against The School and its employees, agents, officers directors and instructors ("Representatives"), including, but not limited to, claims for property damage, loss, personal injury, or deaths that result from or are related to my enrollment and participation of programs and activities of The School;
Indemnify and defend The School and its Representatives against any and all claims a third party arising out of my negligence or intentional acts;
Grant permission to the Wilderness Awareness School staff to provide first aid as they may deem appropriate for an injury I sustain ;
Grant permission to The School and its Representatives, in the event of an emergency, to either provide transportation or make arrangements for my transportation as they may deem appropriate; and
Accept full responsibility and liability for the cost of any treatment for any injury I may suffer while at or participating in a Wilderness Awareness School program or activity.

Youth Registration Liability Waiver and Indemnification

Participation in the program is conditioned upon agreement to the below waiver and indemnification.

I am the parent or legal guardian of my ("Child"). I understand that certain elements of danger are inherent in the activities sponsored by Wilderness Awareness School (“The School”) which are beyond the control of the instructors, agents, officers, students, and employees of Wilderness Awareness School (“Representatives”).

In consideration for my Child’s enrollment in The School’s programs and activities, I execute this release, waiver and indemnity agreement, and I acknowledge and agree to:

Assume all risks of injury and death to my Child and loss of or damage to property arising out of Child’s participation in The School’s programs and activities;
Waive all claims against the School and/or its Representatives which I or my marital community may have , including, but not limited to, claims for property damage,, personal injury, or death arising from or related to the enrollment and participation of my Child in The School’s programs and activities (“Claims”) and, to the extent permitted by law, waive all Claims on behalf of my Child;
Indemnify and defend the School and its Representatives against any and all claims by a third party arising out of my Child's negligence or intentional acts;
Permit the School staff to provide first aid to my Child as they deem appropriate, and then after an unsuccessful attempt to reach me, to transport the child to receive medical care as they deem advisable;
Grant permission to The School and its Representatives, in the event of an emergency, to provide transportation or make arrangements for the
transportation of Child for medical treatment in the case of an emergency; and
Accept full responsibility and liability for and indemnify the School and its Representatives against the cost of any treatment and cost of transportation for treatment of any injury suffered by the Child while at or participating in the programs and activities of the School.
