Description:

Learn techniques for sketching, drawing, and colouring in pencil. Students will follow the instructor in step-by-step lessons on how to draw various subjects. Students will gain a better awareness of simple perspective and proportion, gain more precise fine motor control, and observation skills.

Required age: 7 - 10 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Students should have the following supplies of their own to bring to each class: • Drawing pad or sketchbook, preferably 9 x 12 inches or larger • Pencil, eraser, and sharpener • Coloured pencil set. Recommended products: Prismacolor Scholar Coloured Pencils 48 pack, OR Staedtler Coloured Pencils 48-pack. WITHDRAWAL POLICY: • The last day to withdraw and receive a full refund for the class is 7 days before the class start date. • The registration fee is non-refundable. • If you cancel between 1-7 days before the class start date, you will receive a 75% refund. After the class has already started, you have a maximum of 14 days to withdraw and receive a 50% refund. No refunds are granted after this 14-day period. If you paid upfront, the 50% refund will be issued to you. If you paid by installments, the second installment will simply be cancelled instead of being charged on the 14th day. • No refunds or make-up classes are granted for missed classes, except in special cases according to our sick day policy (see policy page on our website).
