These weekly classes cover drawing and painting techniques with a variety of materials. Students often follow step-by-step demos from the teacher.

Required age: 7 - 10 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Students should have the following supplies of their own to bring to each class: • Mixed media paper pad, at least 8.5 x 11 inches • Pencil, eraser, and sharpener • Watercolour paints • Paintbrushes • Oil pastel set • Wear mess-friendly clothing Recommended product list here: https://www.youngartistsplace.com/s/2025-Drawing-Painting-Materials-List.pdf WITHDRAWAL POLICY: • The last day to withdraw and receive a full refund for the class is 7 days before the class start date. • The registration fee is non-refundable. • If you cancel between 1-7 days before the class start date, you will receive a 75% refund. After the class has already started, you have a maximum of 14 days to withdraw and receive a 50% refund. No refunds are granted after this 14-day period. If you paid upfront, the 50% refund will be issued to you. If you paid by installments, the second installment will simply be cancelled instead of being charged on the 14th day. • No refunds or make-up classes are granted for missed classes, except in special cases according to our sick day policy (see policy page on our website).
