Learn various drawing, painting and printmaking techniques and how these flat art forms can easily shift dimensions. Create your own graphics to print on various materials.

Students will learn how to build an artistic practice in photography. Photography will focus on the basics of composition, exposure, color theory, photo sequencing, as well as dive into the history of photographic image and how to use a darkroom to develop film and print pictures. It is designed to explore the aesthetics and techniques of photography so students can better understand not only how to create stronger images but also how to study and analyze them. We will learn how to become better storytellers with our images and how to cultivate an art practice that we can integrate into our daily life. 

The Architecture Studio intensive will teach the foundations of architecture to design and construct projects. You will work individually and as a class to apply design-thinking to social issues. 

Learn hand and machine sewing, embroidery, pattern-making, how to upcycle and embellish clothes, and more!

Learn various multimedia techniques with hands-on projects that focus on essential skills in both two dimensional and three dimensional artworks. During this week-long intensive, young artists will have the opportunity to explore vast and varied processes such as photography, zines, plaster, sewing, and found object sculpture. Throughout the class, we will also explore sustainable processes that involve using household items and scraps.

Learn how to illustrate and storyboard for comic books. Create and draw your own action characters, understanding anatomy and scene development with flair. This course will focus on composition, design, and mood in addition to drawing/illustration.

The Architecture Internship Program is an immersive and hands-on experience designed for high school students interested in exploring the exciting world of architecture, construction, and design-related career fields through hands-on project-based learning. This program aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the tools and skills required to design and construct real-world products and structures.

The Mural Arts summer internship program is an immersive and hands-on experience designed for high school students passionate about visual arts and community engagement. This program aims to empower students to express their creativity through mural painting while fostering a sense of civic responsibility and pride. Participants will learn valuable artistic skills, collaborate with local artists, and contribute to the beautification of a public space.

The Printmaking Internship is a dynamic and empowering summer program specifically tailored for high school students who are passionate about art and eager to express their unique perspectives through project-based learning. This internship focuses on printmaking as a medium for amplifying youth voice, providing participants with the tools, skills, and platform to create impactful artworks.
