Summer Camp Registration
Early registration for our Summer Camps will open on March 3, 2025, at noon for Indigenous participants and folks a part of the TSS program. If the participant you are registering is Indigenous or a part of TSS program, please email camps@yukonu.ca for an early access code.
Registration for the general public will open on March 10, 2025, at noon.
Camp Hours
Camps will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday (unless otherwise stated).
Drop-off will be at 9:00 - 9:30 AM and pick-up will be at 4:00 - 4:15 PM at the front entrance of the YukonU Gymnasium (unless otherwise stated for older youth workshops – please refer to your confirmation email for more details).
Split Registration
In an effort to create more equitable opportunities for youth in STEAM and trades, available spaces in our Summer Camps and Workshops are divided equally for female-identifying and male-identifying folks. Accordingly, registration is now split into "Registration for Female-Identifying and Non-Binary Participants" and "Registration for Male-Identifying and Non-Binary Participants". If the participant you are registering identifies as non-binary, please list their “gender” as non-binary, and select any available spot. Please note that although registration is split, both groups will be mixed in one co-ed camp (unless otherwise stated for all-girls and non-binary camps).
*** Youth Moving Mountains strives to create an inclusive environment to advance gender equity in STEAM and trades. Our programs are welcome to gender diverse youth, including but not limited to cis, trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and genderqueer youth. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our team at camps@yukonu.ca.
Account Creation
When creating your Amilia account for registration, please add each participant as a member. If you already have an online account with Amilia (e.g. Polarettes, Yukon Fish & Wildlife, Aikido Yukon) you may proceed with your registration using your previously established account.
Waitlist
When a camp or program is full you may add your participant to the waitlist. If a spot in the program becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will be emailed and the spot will be filled by the first individual to register. We strongly recommend using this waitlist feature as there is a chance that a participant will unenroll from a camp or workshop.
Office Hours
Our regular office hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday. If you require administrative assistance outside of office hours please email camps@yukonu.ca or call 867-332-1627 and your request will be replied to as soon as possible the following business day.
Extended Care
Unfortunately, extended before or after care is not available for Summer Camps and Workshops.
Tips and Tricks for Camp Registration (Please read prior to registration date)
We understand that camp registration is a stressful process and camp seats fill up quickly—sometimes within minutes. There are steps you can take ahead of the registration date to streamline this process. We highly recommend creating an account and updating all information ahead of the registration date. Please add as many details as possible, as it will be much easier and quicker to populate the registration forms if the information is already saved in your Amilia account (ex. Birthdays, emergency contacts, etc.). Please ensure that the participant’s “gender” and birthday are saved ahead of time. You may be blocked from registering from some camps if this information is not specified.
During registration you may encounter error message(s) if certain fields are not completed. Please note the following potential pitfalls:
You must read and agree to the legal waiver for EACH PARTICIPANT you are registering. Click the ‘Read me’ button. A ‘Confirm’ window will pop up. You will not be able to click the ‘I accept’ button until you have scrolled down through the ENTIRE legal text.
If you are registering two or more participants for the same camp you will need to complete this process multiple times. To do this, scroll back up to the top of the page and click on each participant’s name in the menu on the left side of the page.
You will be required to select TWO emergency contacts for each participant that you register. You cannot use the same name twice. These contacts need to be different from the primary contacts. Please ensure ahead of time that the phone numbers for each emergency contact are up to date.
Payment Options
The payment screen will look like this. If you would like to pay by credit card, please select the option on the left. You can only pay by credit card online through Amilia, we do not take credit cards or debit cards in-person. You will be brought to a page where you can enter your credit card or banking info. You may also save this information on your account ahead of time. If you have any questions or require assistance, please email us at camps@yukonu.ca, or call 867-332-1627), and we get back to you as soon as possible the following business day.
If you are paying through a third-party funder you must confirm with us ahead of registration (ex. Jordan’s Principle). Once you have confirmed this with us, you can then register and click the option on the right for ‘Offline Payment’ and follow up with us by emailing camps@yukonu.ca.
