Description

The BNS Band is a comprehensive free donation-based music program available to all students grades PreK - 5th grade. We offer early childhood classes in music and movement, instrumental music classes in ukulele, cello, violin, guitar, trumpet, trombone, flute, sax, clarinet, and percussion, songwriting, chorus, and music literacy classes. We provide universal instrumental band for grade 3 students during the school day to ensure that all students have access to instrumental instruction during their 3rd grade year. Our curriculum is guided by principles of whole-child learning, a focus on community building, and our school-wide priorities of inclusion, fostering joy, and promoting self-expression.
