In Part 2 we'll focus on portraits – people and pets – subjects particularly suited to coloured pencil. We'll begin by practicing facial features from different angles, hair colours, types and textures, and creating a variety of skin tones. Hands will probably
come into it too, being often part of the portrait. With this in view, folks should begin collecting magazine pictures with good close-up detail, as well as deciding on the portrait they want to create. Pets, of course, will introduce a variety of fur textures.

Attendance of Getting Started With Coloured Pencils is not required to participate in this class.
