Description

Merritt Academy's After School Program was created to meet the needs of families in the community who were unable to find safe, affordable after school care for their public-school children. We provide transportation, snacks and varied activities until 6:15pm. As an added service, MAAP students are also able to register for Extended Service Care during Winter and Spring Break. At this time, we will only be serving families with students enrolled at Flint Hill Elementary School, Mosaic Elementary School, and Mantua Elementary School. Merritt Academy will provide transportation from Flint Hill and Mosaic Elementary to Merritt Academy. Mantua Elementary students may attend MAAP using Mantua Elementary's bus after applying for approval. MAAP will take place on all regularly scheduled school days. If FCPS is closed, your child may attend Merritt after 3:30pm, but we will not be able to serve them for the whole day that Fairfax County is closed.
