Description :
Uncover the basics! Learn the characteristics of clay, how to prepare it for the wheel and how to create forms using a step-by-step instructional method. With a fundamental, skills-based approach to throwing, students will learn correct hand-positioning and use of tools. The class will culminate in an evening of glazing where students will complete their pieces prior to kiln firing.
