Description :

Throw larger vessels on the pottery wheel! Day one teaches methods of wedging and centering 8 to 15 lbs. of clay. Practice throwing multiple tall cylinders that can be shaped into jugs, vases, and bowls. On day two, participants will learn how to join two or more thrown pieces together.

Students need to be able to confidently throw on the wheel to take this workshop. The instructor will provide recycled clay. If there is a specific clay body you would like to throw with, please bring 40 - 60 lbs. Clay can be purchased at Casa for $42 +GST per box (and up). Firing and glazing fees not included.
