Our mission is to provide hope and a positive vision to bring out the best in youth, community, and ourselves. The Arlington Optimist Club works to ensure that all youth have access to baseball, softball, football, and cheerleading. We believe that all children should be allowed to play sports no matter their SES, gender, race, or ethnicity. We believe that playing sports provides children with opportunities beyond the sport, including learning life lessons and skills that they carry with them for the rest of their lives. The Arlington Optimist Club also awards thousands of dollars in scholarships each year for sports and our annual Youth Appreciation Banquet. The club is also involved in the Optimist International Programs of Oratorical, Essay, and CCDHH, where youth can win scholarships to college. A new endever for the Arlington Optimist Club is being able to rent out the newly renovated baseball fields and batting cages at All-Star Legacy Fields at Senter Park in Arlington TX. The fields and batting cages can be rented for team or individual use, tournaments, games, corporate events, and more.
