Program Description: This watercolor workshop invites participants to explore birds throug observation, color, and expressive brushwork. Using reference images of familiar bird species, we’ll practice building forms with simple shapes, layering color, and suggesting feathers without overworking details. Designed for beginners and nature lovers alike, this class emphasizes confidence, creativity, and enjoying the process. All materials are provided. Jennifer Lucas is a local artist and watercolor instructor with a Certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG). She specializes in blending artistic expression with scientific observation, teaching
