Join us for Scenic Adventures, a series of exciting field trips designed for older adults who love to explore, socialize, and experience the beauty of Colorado’s most charming towns! Our trips take you to stunning destinations like Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Steamboat, and Marble, where you’ll enjoy a perfect blend of unique activities, sightseeing, and shopping.

Each trip is thoughtfully planned to provide a memorable and enriching experience, whether it’s soaking in hot springs, visiting historic landmarks, browsing local boutiques, taking a trip to a farmers market, or enjoying the mountain views. 

8:00 AM Leave Avon Recreation Center

10:00-10:15 Arrive to Yampa River Botanic Park

10:30-11:30 Yampa River Botanic Park -Pick up Jimmy John’s

11:45-12:15 Lunch at Howelsen Beach (Jimmy Johns)

12:30-2:00 Shopping at Downtown Steamboat

2:00-3:00- Fish Creek Falls

3:20 Dairy Queen

3:40 Leave Steamboat

5:15 p.m. Return to Avon Recreation
