RECREATIONAL PROGRAM POLICIES 2021-2022
REGISTRATION
Registration is based on age and experience. Register your child according to the age they will be when classes begin.
FEE POLICIES
Fees are due upon registration.
Payment methods include Visa or Master Card.
Clients are responsible for updating their own payment information by logging in to their account and changing credit card numbers or expiration dates no later than the 25th of the month to process successfully.
If a payment fails (NSF, incorrect card information or card expiration), a $30.00 chargeback fee will be added to the account.
Any gymnast whose fees are unpaid within 3 business days, will not be permitted to participate until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
Can-Am reserves the right to collect a 15% monthly late fee on accounts past due that are not paid within the first week of the month.

REFUNDS
Fees are non-refundable.
Refunds are issued for medical reasons only and a medical certificate or doctor’s note must be provided. Medical cancellations will receive a pro-rated refund (less a $25 administration fee) or a pro-rated credit can be applied to your account for future use (with no additional administrative fees).
LATE REGISTRATION
Late registration is accepted up to the third class of the session.
There are no discounts for late registrations.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Can-Am Gymnastics Club reserves the right to cancel any programs with insufficient registration 3 days prior to the program start date.
MISSED CLASSES
There are no discounts, refunds or make up classes for any of the following reasons but not limited to:
If Can-Am closes under government order, Can-Am will review alternatives such as zoom training, extend the session, credit or reimburse a portion of fees.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
FIRST DAY: One parent/guardian can accompany their child in to the gym to meet and greet their coach. Once athletes start warm up, parents can exit the building unless week 1 is your scheduled viewing week.
Arrive 10 minutes prior to class so that Can-Am staff can check in athletes and start class on time.
PICK UP
You must be on time to pick up your athlete. (thank you for your cooperation as our coaching staff have to be ready to check in their next class)
Classes will end promptly at the designated time and athletes will be escorted to the lobby for pick up.

ATTIRE
Participants will be most comfortable wearing a t-shirt, tank top, shorts, leggings or a gym suit. Bare feet is best.
No jewelry and hair tied back for good visibility.
Athlete’s should arrive ready to do gymnastics wearing the advisable attire and carry a gym bag to store their personal belongings (water bottle, jacket, shoes etc.).
WHAT TO BRING
Water bottle that is filled and labelled with the athlete’s name (water fountains are closed at this time)
Personal hand sanitizer (there are hand sanitizing stations in the gym but athletes are encouraged to bring their own)
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Can-Am Gymnastics Club is NOT responsible for lost or stolen property in or around our premises, including the gym floor, change rooms, viewing lounge, entrance or your vehicle. Can-Am Gymnastics Club and its personnel accept no responsibility for articles left behind.
The lost and found items are disposed or donated at the end of every session.
VIEWING
Due to the size and capacity of our viewing area, Can-Am will provide a viewing rotation schedule for recreation parents to view their children’s gymnastics.
Following the viewing rotation schedule is recommended, however you will not be refused viewing.
Viewing is limited to one parent per athlete on your scheduled days.
The viewing schedules will be emailed directly to you.
PRIVACY
Photography and video are discouraged during class for reasons of privacy.
CAN-AM COMMUNICATION POLICY
The communication policy is a pathway to request information, ask questions and share ideas with Can-Am’s employees respectfully. At this stage in communication, we seek to gain knowledge, insight and understanding. Following the communication policy ensures all inquiries and concerns are resolved at the lowest level possible.
Anyone associated with the Can-Am Gymnastics Club is required to foster respectful communication, goodwill, and harmony among all members, employees, officials, volunteers, visitors, and athletes.
At any point during communication, Can-Am employees can postpone the conversation for 24-48 hours to consider the information presented or de-escalate the situation and contact Management before further communications are held. \
RECREATION PROGRAM STEPS
STEP 1 – contact your child’s coach (if the coach is unavailable due to coaching obligations, move to STEP 2).
STEP 2 – if your inquiry or concern is unresolved after contacting your child’s coach, or you were unable to reach your child’s coach, contact the Recreation Director or Manager and they will assist you.

MANAGEMENT AUTHORITIES
The management staff reserve the right to cancel any class due to any circumstances that are not to the benefit of the registrants, program or club.
The management staff reserve the right to assign the registrant to the group deemed most appropriate for the athlete’s age, level and ability.
The management staff reserve the right to refuse services to registrants whose fees are unpaid.
The management staff reserve the right to refuse services to registrants who are repeatedly absent, frequently late or leaving early without reasonable excuse.
The management staff reserve the right to decline services if the registrant’s temperament, development or skill level prevents him/her from meeting the requirements of the program.
The management staff reserve the right to request any registrant withdraw from the program prior to its termination under any of the following conditions but not limited to:
Further to management’s request, a registrant may be suspended from programming at any time during the current session, temporarily or permanently, under any of the conditions above in accordance with club policy.
The management staff reserve the right to withhold registration for the upcoming session or season if future participation opportunities/memberships may be declined.
PANDEMIC PROTOCOLS (if any)
Can-Am’s Return to Play pandemic protocols are posted on Can-Am’s website and will be updated according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
