Can-Am 10m Recreation Gymnastics Policies 2024-2025
MONTHLY RECREATION GYMNASTICS
Our Recreational program is for kids aged 6 to 14 years.
Monthly Gymnastics classes run from September through to June.
Participants can sign up for a class at any point in the year if space is available. Participants can sign up for more than one class.
In Artistic Gymnastics, each class is structured around vault, bars, beam, and
floor. In our Trampoline program, each class is structured around trampoline, double mini trampoline and basic tumbling.
HOW TO REGISTER AND PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
ARTISTIC BEGINNER?
Each class is structured around vault, bars, beam, and floor. Allowing athletes to develop the skills necessary to learn quality gymnastics.
Class Duration: 1.5 hours x 1 class per week
Age: 6 years old and up
Age: 9+ years old and up
Requirements: No Experience Necessary
Athletes at this level will work towards burgundy and red badge levels.
ARTISTIC NOVICE
The Artistic Novice class will focus on perfecting the skills learned in the Beginner class and progressing to more challenging basics. Our coaches will focus on teaching skills with the proper technique to build the foundation for quality gymnastics skills.
Class Duration: 1.5 hours x 1 class per week
Age: 6 years old and up
Requirements: Artistic Beginner or working towards Tan & Bronze badge levels
ARTISTIC INTERMEDIATE
The Artistic Intermediate class is for the gymnast who has the basics down and wants to learn more challenging skills. This class is great for athletes who have previous gymnastics experience.
Class Duration: 1.5 hours x 1 class per week
Age: 7 years old and up
Requirements: Pass Novice Class or working towards Purple or higher badge level.
ARTISTIC ADVANCED
The Artistic Advanced class is focused on attaining higher-level skills with proper form and technique.
This class is recommended for gymnasts with some experience or are looking for a more challenging class. This class is an excellent progression for those wanting to take the next step in developing their gymnastic skills in artistic gymnastics.
Class Duration: 2 hours x 1 or 2 classes per week
Age: 9 years old and up
Requirements: Pass Intermediate Class or working towards Blue or higher badge level.
MONTHLY TUITION
Monthly tuition costs are calculated per class and averaged over 10 months.
Class fees differ depending on the day of the week, the number of weeks in the month, blackout dates, and statutory holidays.
The 2024-2025 Blackout Dates for 10m Recreation Programming are located on the final page of the policies.
Classes finish at the end of June. If you would like to continue with monthly gymnastics in the summer and/or fall 2025, you will need to re-register for the day and time that works for your schedule.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
All registration is administered by Amilia - Can-Am’s online registration platform. Families are required to maintain an active account on Amilia that includes names, phone numbers and email of the parent/guardian and emergency contact. Families are required to maintain/update payment information. Families are required to maintain their Amilia subscription.
Unsubscribing will result in missed communication.
To participate at Can-Am, participants must have a parent or guardian accept REGISTRANT CONSENT, AGREEMENT & WAIVER and PIPEDA FORM. By checking the box(es) at the end of the registration process you have formally consented to the release of liability.
PREMIUM POLICIES
With Monthly Gymnastics, the tuition fee is paid each month. When purchasing a gymnastics class, you will pay for the first month of classes and the membership upfront.
After your initial registration, payment for the ongoing monthly tuition will be processed on the 1st of each month for the upcoming month. If payment is not made before the first class, your child’s enrollment will end, and they will be removed from the class.
If you purchase a class after the 1st of the month, a pro-rated amount will be added to your account and due before the participant’s start date.
All outstanding balances from the previous year or summer camps need to be paid in full prior to the registration.
Fees are due upon registration. Gymnasts are not permitted to begin the season without the Gym Sask membership fee and first months fees paid in full. Regardless of the registration date, there is no reduction in the Gym Sask fee.
Premiums are due on the 1st day of the month and debited as early as 12:00am.
Clients are responsible for updating their own payment information by logging in to their account and changing credit card numbers or expiration dates no later than the 25th of the month to process successfully.
Clients receive a courtesy reminder from Amilia to update their credit card information in most cases when the client's contact information is correct and up-to-date.
Clients who do not receive the reminder or fail to take action are not excused from chargeback fees.
If a payment fails a chargeback fee will be invoiced to the account according to the chart:
Insufficient funds, Incorrect bank or credit card information, Payment refused by bank |
Card expiration or cancellation, Invalid credit card type, Lost or stolen card, Unknown error occurred |
$40.00 chargeback fee will be invoiced (there are no exceptions) |
$40.00 chargeback fee will be invoiced when fees go unpaid by the 3rd day of the month. |
For failed transactions, it is a requirement that premiums (including the chargeback fee) be paid within 5 business days or the athlete will not be permitted to participate in training until the outstanding balance is paid in full. Can-Am withholds the right to refuse athlete participation on the gymnastic training equipment or event attendance whose fees are unpaid.
Can-Am reserves the right to collect a 15% monthly late fee on accounts past due that are not paid within 5 business days.
Can-Am reserves the right to decline monthly installments to any client who has a record of payment failures. Alternative payments may be provided on a case by case basis.
There are no discounts, refunds or make up classes for any of the following reasons but not limited to:
Illness or quarantine
voluntary absence (ex. vacation)
power outage, unsafe weather conditions or poor air quality
facility maintenance
gymnastic events (training camps or competitions)
scheduled breaks (ex. long weekends, stat holidays)
If Can-Am closes under government order, Can-Am will review alternatives such as zoom training, extend the session, credit or reimburse a portion of fees.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds for training fees and Gym Sask fee prior to the first day of classes (September 5, 2024) will be charged a 10% administration fee on the amount paid at the time of registration.
After the first day of classes, refer to the withdrawal policy.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Any participant considering withdrawal is required to provide notice by the 14th of the current month to avoid payment on the 1st of the subsequent month.

CREDITS
Credits issued to accounts expire annually August 31st.
WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING TO TRAINING
Athletes should arrive ready to do gymnastics wearing a gym suit with their hair tied back.
Athletes should carry a gym bag to store their personal belongings that includes:
filled water bottle labeled with the athlete’s name
medical devices labeled with athlete’s name and instructions ex. EpiPen (parent/guardian is responsible for sharing details on specific use with the coach and program director)
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Can-Am Gymnastics Club is NOT responsible for lost or stolen property in or around our premises, including the gym floor, change rooms, viewing lounge, entrance, or vehicle. Can-Am Gymnastics Club and its personnel accept no responsibility for articles left behind. The lost and found items are disposed of or donated at the end of every session.
VIEWING
Due to the size and capacity of our viewing area, Can-Am will provide a viewing rotation schedule for parents/guardians to view their children’s gymnastics.
PRIVACY
Photography and video are discouraged during class for reasons of privacy.
CAN-AM CODE OF CONDUCT
The Code of Conduct policy is available on the Can-Am website www.canamgymnastics.ca.
Further to management’s request, a registrant may be suspended from the 7m recreation program at any time during the current season, temporarily or permanently, under any of the conditions above in accordance with club policy.
The management staff reserves the right to withhold registration for the upcoming session or season if future participation opportunities/memberships may be declined.
POLICY REVISIONS
The 10m Recreation Program Policies & Waiver document is annually revised by the CEO. Can-Am reserves the right to modify its policies at any time to meet the organization's needs.
