Represent Hamilton at the 68th CANUSA Games in Flint, Michigan from August 7th to 9th, 2026. The CANUSA Games provide athletes with a unique opportunity to compete against athletes from Flint while building friendships, experiencing another culture, and representing Hamilton through sport. Date: Thursday, June 11, 2026 Tryouts are open to boys and girls ages 10 to 16 who are interested in representing Hamilton at the 2026 CANUSA Games. Athletes should arrive early, dressed appropriately for outdoor soccer, and bring water and any required equipment. Athletes must have a valid Canadian passport and be available to travel to Flint, Michigan from August 7th to 9th, 2026 if selected to a CANUSA team. Team selections will be made by the coaching staff based on skill, effort, sportsmanship, attendance, and overall commitment. Selected athletes will travel to Flint, Michigan for the 2026 CANUSA Games from August 7th to 9th, 2026. A valid Canadian passport is required for all athletes travelling to the United States. Birth certificates will not be accepted. One of the most unique aspects of the CANUSA Games is the billeting experience. Athletes under 18 years of age are traditionally matched with a Flint athlete and family for the weekend, providing an opportunity to build lasting friendships and experience the host community. Families who are not comfortable participating in billeting may choose the Modified Billeting Program, which allows athletes to stay with their parent/guardian in hotel accommodations while still participating in all CANUSA activities and athlete matching opportunities. Financial assistance may be available for families requiring support. CANUSA Hamilton is currently seeking volunteer soccer coaches to assist with the 2026 Soccer Program. Coaches will play an important role in athlete development, team selection, and representing Hamilton at the CANUSA Games.
