Myth, Magic, and Mayhem come alive in the CPD's 2025 theatre season, kicking off with an electrifying production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical! Based on the beloved New York Times bestseller, this enchanting musical follows 12-year-old Percy Jackson as he discovers his true identity as a demigod. Join him on an epic quest to retrieve Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and avert a war among the Greek gods. Young performers with a passion for theatre are encouraged to register-all talent levels are welcome! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Camp Half-Blood!

Audition materials and a detailed rehearsal schedule will be sent out to all registrants on 1/17/2025.

Audition Workshop (Attended by guardian and actor): Monday, January 27th, 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Auditions: Tuesday, January 28th, 5:30pm - 8:30pm

Auditions: Thursday, January 30th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Rehearsal Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, February 3rd - March 12th, 6:00pm - 9:00pm (Additionally, Saturday, February 22nd and Saturday, March 8th)

Tech Week: Monday - Wednesday, March 17th - March 19th, 5:00pm - 9:30pm

Performances at Centennial High School: Thursday - Saturday, March 20th - 22nd at 7:00pm and Saturday 2:00pm

Parents are required to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per family and help with some of their child’s costumes.

There is a $35 nonrefundable fee for this activity.
