Spend a magical evening under the night sky! Gather around the fire at Porter Park as a local astronomer shares insights on the Perseid meteor shower—one of the most spectacular celestial events of the year! This meteor shower is set to peak the night of the event, August 12. We invite you to bring your own food to roast over the open fire (s’mores, hot dogs—the sky’s the limit).
