Description :
Two options available: Tuesdays or Thursdays- choose one! Come join us for this handbuilding and wheel-throwing class for young ceramicists, both new and returning! This class is for grades K-5 and takes place on Thursdays 4-5:30PM. It runs for 6 weeks. We will begin by using the basic techniques of pinching, coils, and slabs to learn how clay works as well as glazing and painting techniques. We will graduate to throwing on the wheel, and will have the opportunity to use more advanced glazing techniques over the six weeks of class. Youth artists will be completing projects that give them room for creative growth and unique expression. Memories and mementos will be created that last for years to come. Artist Instructor: Emily Pulver Parents/Guardians will be notified when the final pieces are available for pickup, often 3 weeks after the end of class. Please note: There is a max of 8 students per class. Please join the waitlist if the spots are full. If someone drops the class, all people on the waitlist will receive an automated email to register. It is first-come, first-serve for the open spot.
