A three week workshop series- Satrudays 10:30am-12pm, Feb 7, 14, 21

Ever wondered how your favorite games like Catan, Uno, or Dungeons & Dragons came to be?
Explore the world of tabletop game design—where math meets creativity and play becomes invention! Each session blends play, discovery, and creation. Students analyze popular games, explore mechanics like chance, balance, and storytelling, and design their own original tabletop game to take home and share.

Week 2: Build and Test — From Idea to Prototype

Week 3: Refine, Present, and Publish — Sharing Your Creation

Artist-Instructor: Christian Cook 

Christian Cook is a writer, educator, and designer who teaches storytelling and game design through creativity and play. Combining his background in narrative design, tabletop strategy, and interactive storytelling, he helps students turn ideas into games that spark imagination and collaboration.
