The Junior Extracurricular Club boasts an intermediate chess curriculum for students who already possess a basic knowledge of the game. Here, students delve into the fundamentals of tactics and strategy. Life skills like Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Resilience help bring chess to life as they are integrated throughout the lessons. Made specially for grades three through eight!

The Junior Extracurricular Club is available as four separate, 8-class terms spanning the length of one school year. This year-length curriculum can be joined at any time, but it is best experienced as a complete, year-length course. Dates and times vary school-to-school.
